ISBN 978-1-61499-382-7 (IOS Press, print)
ISBN 978-1-61499-383-4 (IOS Press, online)

Strengths

1. Practical-oriented
2. Contains lists of websites which contain a large amount of linked data of specified quality, some scientific
3. Gives a short introduction to web crawling and semantic data formats
4. Covers RDF, RDFs, OWL, Turtle
5. Relatively new topic which will have potential applications in science

Weaknesses

1. It is a thesis paper from graduate school
2. The title does not mention linked data over the semantic web, which would be more to the topic
3. Written for data scientists.
4. Web crawling and linked data inherently involves high-power computing and large storage

As a chemist, I would use this book for

1. Accessing the linked data the author accessed, which includes uniprot but not pubchem RDF.
