ISBN 978-1-55570-635-7

Strengths

1. Good overview of metadata standards such as Dublin Core and MARC
2. Discusses the use of XML schemas in metadata

Weaknesses

1. Written for information technology audience, not specifically for chemists
2. Has a small section on scientific metadata

As a chemist, I would use this book for
